Welcome

Update September 2020

I have made the difficult decision to stop making birds, a sort of semi-retirement. I may still produce the occasional one but will not be doing any more craft fairs or taking commissions. Anything that is available will be in my Folksy shop.

If you are looking for a special Christmas present this might be the perfect time. Or just as a treat for yourself! But as the adverts say “When they are gone, they are gone!”

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

A lifelong love of birds and crafts led me to try my hand at making my first waders over 15 years ago. Having had positive feedback from family and friends and in danger of being overrun by an increasing number of birds, I took a table at a craft fair in 2012 which attracted a lot of interest and encouraged me to continue. In spring 2014, I took the decision to leave my job to carve full time. Over the years, I have refined my carving and painting techniques to produce birds with individual style and character.

Each piece is unique and prices range from £60 to £400 depending on size and detail. If you are interested in purchasing or need more photos/information, please get in touch via the Contact page.
